Hi Matt, I checked out your webpage on Aymara and found it very interesting. I thought I should introduce myself.
I'm a linguistic anthropologist, a graduate student at the University of Chicago, studying Aymara in the Department of Puno (specifically, in the Ilave river valley). I study the acquisition of certain kinds of deictic forms (evidentials, others) relative to the child's acquisition of culture in middle childhood. I've already done my dissertation research and am writing up my dissertation. It looks like you are doing some very interesting things (Aymara morphophonology is certainly a rich area of study). And, we are working in geographically close areas. So, I thought we should be in touch. I look forward to hearing from you, and I hope you're doing well.
