Hi Elaine, Yes, I had tears in my eyes as I watched Meredith visiting Faial. It brought back warm memories of my 2001 visit there.
Merediths's paternal grandmother, Maria Louise (Luisa) Costa was from Sao Miguel. She married Antonio C. Vieira, the former priest. I read where the "C" stood for Claudio.
