Do these books have anything on the CABECA family name? All I have is that my Joao Vieira Cabeca was born about 1874 in Sao Miguel and came to US about 1891-1893. His marriage in New Bedford on 22 Oct. 1894 to Maria Jose de Freitas (Ramos was her fathers surname that she later used) at St. John’s shows his parents as Joao Vieira Cabeca and Cerubina de Sousa de Jesus. However, I still have no freguesia. When I checked for records on Ancestry I find all the Cabeca’s come from Agua de Pau on St. Michaels. Does anyone have any information about this family name or line.
