Janela from Beira, Sao Jorge. Settled near Sacramento, CA. Isidore lived in
Lemoore. A few years back I went to that village. Owner of the Australia
Hotel was from Beira. He knew the people nicknamed Janela were from there.

Do you live in Beira?
I went to Beira, Sao Jorge this summer and took pictures of the town and
church for my Mom because my ggrandfather Jose Pereira was from there as was my
other ggrandfather Jose Victorino Bettincourt. I haven't found their baptismal
records yet but anxiously wait for the Velas records to come on line.
I found Beira to be a beautiful village and the people very gracious. Should
I post some pictures?
