Hi, Listers: I found 6 magazines among my mother in law's belongings from the year 1928, titled *Os Acores, Revista Ilustrada*
I have issues for the months of June, July, August, September, November and December of 1928. They are still intact but a bit fragile. It does contains names and photos of people and places from the different islands. They contain photos of "Acoreanos Ilustres such as Coronel Francisco Afonso Chaves; there's poetry, plays. There are names of "famous" people who died with a bio and a photo. There's a write up on the Public library of Ponta Delgadawith photos and the local public school(Escola Normal Primaria de Ponta Delgada.) I can look if anyone has ancestors from that time frame. There's a "Fuguras E Factos" page. I noticed a photo of a "casamento elegante em Ponta Delgada" of "A Senhora D. Leonor da Silveira Tavares e o senhor Antonio de Medeiros Frazao Jr. in front of Igreja de Nossa Senhora d'Oliveira da Faja de Cima. I'll be glad to look up any names or places if someone desires.
