Don't be too surprised. For some reason, our ancestors chose to use whatever name they so desired. My family is Victor, they came to this country as Machado!! Andre must have been another family name of theirs. In my case, I have yet to find a Machado in the bunch! We think it might be the family who took them in after their parents died.
