Hi Joanne, I have connections in Bretanha as well. My GGrandfather Manuel Joaquim Carvalho was born there on 18 Oct 1862. He was the son of Jacintho Joaquim Carvalho and Joaquina de Jesus Botelho. I have some of his line going back to about 1665. This would be Manuel Alves Rocha and Maria Esteves also Tome Furtado and Luiza Carvalho, Ambrosio Camara and Maria de Costa to name a few.
