Has anyone had any experience researching who owns property in the Sao Miguel. My grandparents owned property but over the years its was abandoned. It was never sold or tranfered that I am aware of. I don't know who officialy owns the property now. No taxes have been paid since 1960's. I am not sure if the village took over the ownership. Does anyone know a way to research property ownership. Has anyone had any dealings with any real estate attorneys in Sao Miguel?
