>From [email protected]: <<To the person who said they could not find any ancestry information from church or baptismal records - would those ancestors perhaps have been Jewish? Mine were so all those church records do me no good!
I am researching ancestors: Seriqui, Benarus, Bensabat, Bensaude. The Seriquis lived on Terceira and two sons went to Brazil - Salão and David probably at the end of the 1800s. At least one Benarus lived on another Azores island and an Arthur Benarus lived in Lisbon at least in 1915. He called my grandfather, Miguel Seriqui (changed to Sereque in the USA), "cousin". I was at the CCA site but wasn't able to find much. I clicked on passports but nothing came up. Thanks for any help! Most of you know so much more than I do. - Shirl - >> --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected].
