Carmen,

No pop ups have ever come through with list mail on my end. You may want to
check your firewalls to make sure your ports are all closed or hidden.

Guill did the book around 1972 and then redid it and had intended to make it
become part of a series and decided to title it volume 5. That was the
early 1990s. That one has a brown cover with a photo of the shoreline on it
with a few other inset photos. The 1972 one had some yellow, green and red
stripes on it, I think. I haven't seen that one in 10 years, so it's hard
to remember.

Guill was going to go into more detail in Volumes 1 - 4 and released volume
5 first as a summary. He died before publishing the other books.

Unless you have a royal line, Guill's book will not have your family in it.
The only thing applicable for genealogy (unless you have the royal line) are
the list of names, list of churches, list of freguesias, and the maps. All
of these have been extracted. If you are interested in a general history of
the Azores, it's something like 600 pages, all in English. So it's good for
a general history.
