OK. I found out that Vito Figueiredo came to the US on the Moses B. Tower arriving in New Bedford 9/23/1888 and he was 20 years old and from Nossa Senhora da Conceicao church, Santa Cruz Flores. So ,I went to the CCA site....no baptism for 1868 time period. No passportes for 1888 from Sao Miguel. Would he have left from somewhere else? Well this now tells me that my Maria Pedro was born before Sept. 23, 1888 so I don't think the one we found previously that we thought was her is her.
