I have started on my late husband's portuguese side of his family. I am in a bind because I do not know where to start because I am not very good in portuguese. I know that his great grandparents came from Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores. I also have down that they were born at the same place. I do have one of their children born in Sao Pedro, Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores. I did look up a church records in that place but no one goes by the name of Virginio Augusto de Carvalho.
