It was 10 below zero in Beckwourth, CA this morning. In 3 hours it was 20 above zero. Usually, we don't get this kind of weather until January. It's snowed in Pleasanton, all the hills around are covered almost down to the valley floor. My wife was swimming this morning about 5:30 and was snowed on in the pool. I think it was 1976 last time the Bay area got snow at sea level. So if any of you are coming up this way, be aware of these conditions. Don't know how long it will last but this Eastern girl is certainly enjoying it at 3 am in the morning!! Guess our ancestors decided to give us an early White Christmas and I wonder how many times they saw snow here. "E" -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected].
