In preparation for the SLC conference I've been going through my genealogy papers and trying to get them in some semblance of order. I've come across this forgotten item, an ancestor from Maia. I'm looking for more information on him and his family.
My great,great,great grandfather's name if Francisco Furtado born about 1788 in Maia (Espirito Santo). He married Mariana de Jesus Fagundas on 16 Sep 1813 in Ponta Garca. He died in Ponta Garca on 30 Sept 1873. His parents were Jose furtado and Guiomar Francisca both of Maia. I've had my genealogical search on hold for a while and now I'm ready to get back into it!
