I went back to the CCA site to look for the page that I had copied and it is
not there! The spelling is as George Pacheco has said arrieiro. I copied the
page in May 2009 when they had just an index online for Lagoa, Sao Miguel.
It seems that the baptisms for Logoa are not there but not the index! I
could try to scan the page but it's not a very good copy, would you like me
to send it to you?

In some new documents i have, I'm reading that my great great
grandfather had the occupation of an 'arreiro'. I have tried Babelfish
to translate this but can't seem to find out what it means. Anyone
else have this in their documents?
