Thank you George! I was able to get when Miguel and Maria Rocha
married, but not the Rev's name. Where did you find it? His second
marriage was to Magdalena Becker and it was by a Congregational paster.
The story goes that he didn't want his children ostracized/discriminated
against so let Magdalena bring them up in the Protestant faith. I also
have a death notice from Massachusetts Vital Records for Maria Rocha
that says she was single. This would have been less than two years
after their baby died in August 1881. I'm still trying to find out more
information on that one!
