On a marriage record I am researching, it say they were born in Rio
Janeira. I know they were not born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and I remember
sometime back someone posted a city in the Azores with a similar sounding
name and I cannot remember it. Since this Rio Janeira was written by an
American, does anyone have any idea of where in the Azores might be a city
with a close sounding name?
