Rosemarie and Nancy, Speaking of pictures, I have been researching a niece's family from Illinois via Scotland and England. Her dad did not know his family at all as parents were divorced at an early age and there was no contact with the father's family. I has taken me a few months, but I found her family records, made contact with a family member who sent me a picture of her great-great-great-aunt and just yesterday I heard from the local genealogy society that they have a picture of her great-great-grandmother and her great-aunt's family (yes, Celeste, the ones we cannot find after 1930 who came to California) and numerous other interesting items and I am anxiously awaiting these goodies.
