I have decided to become a member of AAAAA (American Association Against Acronym Abuse) :) There are TOO MANY of these things floating around.
First comes the computers and their hard drives, which people call HD. Then television gets their new technology called High Definition, abbreviated HD. So what do I call Hi Def TVs? I call them Hard Drive TVs. I try to be aware of this and not say Hard Drive, but it comes out of my mouth at least 50% of the time. Argh!
