There is so many people that dropped their names or changed their names unfortunately for us to figure out who is really related. As Rick Pimentel and I are having this struggle right now with Furtado and Pimentel to see if we are related. I have a cousin in Sao Miguel who dropped his father's name and carried his mother's maiden name instead within the last five years so the older generation is still doing that. I have Rodrigues on both my parents sides and Mederios so we could be related by marriage. Linda Borges Furtado Norton
