How do you look for JAPANESE ancestors? My friend is just starting to work on her ancestry. Her mother is Japanese. She only knows her mother's name. Her grandmother was killed when Hiroshima was bombed. You all might already have this info but thought I would pass it along. While searching for a relative's Japanese ancestors, I came upon this site which has passenger lists including Portuguese ones and a lot of other goodies. So if you are looking for Hawaii information, it's a great site. http://archives1.dags.hawaii.gov/gsdl/cgi-bin/library?a=p&p=home&l=en&w=utf-8 "E" -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected].
