Thank you, everyone, for the help. Victorina still eludes me; I've checked all of the Rosario baptismos three or four times , making sure to check for her name even as the second of a pair of twins (always reading the name until filho/a!). I searched from 1840 (15 years before her marriage) all the way back to the early 1800s, putting her well into her 50's by the time she would have had her children. Nothing. I checked Santa Cruz as well, and will look through Agua do Pau when I have a chance. She has to be somewhere!

        She is the woman getting married in this casamento. I cannot
        figure out what it says for her, and haven't been able to find
        her record so I want to make sure I'm looking in the right parish.
