David, I have a book that I purchased many years ago by Norberto da Cunha Pacheco called "Graciosa, as tradicoes e as paisagens de uma ilha". I Googled it on Googles book site and the book is available from many libraries in California, Toronto & Ottowa. There are more, but for some reason my computer would not take me to the next page! Anyway, there are lots of pics in the books: postcards, real pictures etc.. Very little text.
