Hello Elizabeth and anyone else,
sorry i messed up last time i requested any info you have on Manuel Andrade
Macedo. I was having a severe reaction to chemotherapy at the time I wrote. We
know nothing of the Andrade's who appeared in Candelaria Pico somewhere around
1700. There is a possibility that they came from Sao Miguel. There is a very
strong history of the family marrying cousins and Caterina Nascimento Macedo
married Manuel Andrade in Candelaria, Pico in the first half of the 1700s. The
subsequent family name was de Andrade de Macedo. My ggg gradfather Antonio de
Andrade de Macedo was drowned while visiting Sao Miguel and I know we had very
early ancestors there. So, I would be very grateful if you could tell me
anything about your Manuel Andrade Macedo. Thank you.

Chris Macedo
