I also have August-Augusto-roots and there is also a Rapoza connection..you may want to try all those different spellings. My roots ended up in Mass.

Can someone help me by finding out or where I can get this information from? Grandfather: Jacintho Rapozo Grandmother: Mary Agusta They had four daughters, one born in Portugal (Mary) and the other 3 born in Maui. They arrived in Hawaii 1895 on the S.S. Braunfels ship, leaving Ponta Delgada. They are originally from the "Azores" St. Michaels. I'm looking for passports and birth certificates for my grandparents. I'm at a lost of where to look?? Grandfather born around 1867. I have found the census from 1910, but don't know where to go from there. I would love to get my hands on the other information that I am looking for.
