Yeh, I did that, there was a * at the telephone number so I knew to add the
dashes, but something else is wrong and that's what I can't figure out.

So if you win the grand prize, please adopt me into your family!

Ally The same thing happened to me until I realized that they want you to
put a dash line between numbers on phone number 000-000-0000

Cheri,

I have tried many times to enter this contest. Each time I enter, the
"please complete" in red comes up just above my name. Everything else is
fine. But for some unknown reason to me my name is not valid.

I posted a couple of months ago about the new season of "Who Do You Think
You Are?" on NBC in America (there's a British version too. I'm not sure
about other countries). Each episode takes a celebrity and has that person
research his/her family tree.

It's sponsored by _Ancestry.com_ (http://ancestry.com/) . In celebration
of the 2nd season, Ancestry also ran a sweepstakes where anyone can win a
trip to the country of their choice (up to $20,000 in travel money), up to 8
hours of consultation time with an expert genealogist (I wonder if Joao
Ventura wants to put up with 8 hours of me?), help from up to 5 experts in
fields relevant to your family history, and a yearlong _Ancestry.com_
(http://ancestry.com/) World Deluxe membership for you and 5 family members.
You
can enter daily up to April 8th _http://goo.gl/Wqz2v_
(http://goo.gl/Wqz2v)

I also became aware of "The Generations Project." It's on BYU TV.
Although I don't live in Utah or get cable or satellite from any BYU station,
you
can register to see it live online or view it afterwards for free, without
needing to register. From what I understand, it's similar to "Who Do You
Think You Are?" but they use just us regular genealogists (I'm guessing
that they are again starting in America). They are launching the second
season and again, it was posted in Legacy Family Tree's newsletter:
