Hello, My 2nd Great Grandfather, Jose da Rocha de Borba immigrated from Terceira to California in 1870. He was born in 1850, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira, Azores Baptism at St. Bartholomew dos Regatos Parish Church, Angra do HeroĆsmo In 1883 he lived in Milpitas and later settled in the San Jose area and was a large land owner up until he died in 1928. I show Jose having a brother Joao born about 1863 and their parents were Jose da Rocha de Borba and Custodia Candida. In addition, I have a total of nine children (so far) and some information going back to 1760 on this line. My new desktop has been sent in for a diagnosis since the blue screen of death has appeared several times, so I'm reply by webmail....in case you don't receive a prompt reply from me you know why.
