I am trying to help my cousin find the above listed people. He is trying to help someone else. The information he gave me was this: Antonio Joaquim d'Oliviera Moniz (surnames might be reversed) born ca. Dec 1840 possibly Piedade, Pico , Lajes do Pico ,Azores; or St. George, Azores , (he had a brother named Joseph )
Son of Antonio d'Oliviera and Rita (Ignacia) Moniz. I searched the Piedade film for a 20 year span around 1840 looking for any children being born to Antonio & Rita but couldn't find any. I will try the other parishes on Pico. I don't have all the films at our Family History Center for Sao Jorge. I was wondering if these names are familiar to anyone? If so, let me know.
