Welcome to the group Ricardo! I have done some extensive work on my ancestry. My maternal grandmother was from S. António além Capelas and I might be able to give you some help in that area if you send me the particulars. I also have some ancestors from Ribeira Grande. Since you live in S. Miguel you are fortunate to have easy access to the Archives and to source material which is not available to the rest of us. You also have living in Ponta Delgada, Dr. Miguel Soares da Silva, who is probably the the leading expert on Santo António families. The other, Rev. Joseph Viveiros, lives in the US.
