The Los Angeles Public Library had 2: The San Francisco Chronicle and the
San Francisco Herald. I filled out the slips and had to wait 20 minutes,
but I realized I left the marriage date at home, so I went to the computer
area to wait in line for my 15 minutes on the computer. The Los Angeles
Public Library has some interesting characters in the library (I'm being
polite) on a hot Saturday afternoon.

When I got the film, the library page had written that the S.F. Chronicle
and the S.F. Herald were the same paper (then why did the reference
librarian point out the 2 different papers that they had?) Anyways, I
searched the Chronicle through Aug. 31st (the marriage was Aug 18 in the
state of Montana). Aug 25th was missing page 6 off of the film. That was
the "Women's World" page with the society news and marriage info. I'll have
to go back another time and search a little bit more into Sept. I did find
the marriage license from Montana on Family Search though.

Thanks everyone for your help!
