Sometimes, I find dates of death in the city directories, but all ancestry has is 1927 for Nantucket. Nothing in family search, mass.gov only goes to 1915. Most of the cemeteries in Nantucket are run by the town. You might want to try the city clerk's office @ 508/228-7216. They would have the death certificate too, but will they look for it??? If they were catholic, St. Mary's cemetery has burials from 1880 to at least the fifties. Their number is 508/228-0100. Good luck, Judi

Lena and son Joseph. I am told that John and Mary died in Nantucket. Any idea of how I might find out when they died? Or where they are buried? Thank you.
