I'm searching for the obituary of a family member and was hoping that someone might have an e-card with the Boston Pubic Library or lives in the area & might be so kind to search for an obit for me the next time they visit.
Name: Laura Evelyn Vera (Maiden name). NEHGS had her surname spelled "Vieira" DOB: 10/31/1908 in New Bedford, MA DOD: 11/23/1969 in Jamaica Plain, Boston, MA ... so I've been told Parents: Joseph Vera & Mary Morris. NEHGS has their names shown as "Joseph Vieira & Maria Maurice" I've not been able to find her death in the SS Death Index, MA Death Records, Ancestry, Genealogybank or Archives.com. Her one & only child that I'm aware of was Arleen K. St. Aubin who worked for the Boston Public Library but passed away in 2004. I heard that she was buried in New Bedford, MA at St. John's Cemetery. Haven't contacted the cemetery/church yet to confirm that. Her name at death may have been Laura Morin. Her 1st husband was Joseph Henry St. Aubin & her 2nd husband was Leo Morin.
