My ggrandmother was Florence PIO, b. Aug 1866 in the Azores & d. Oct. 1929 in Watsonville, CA. I do not know where she was born & would appreciate any info. Her parents were Joseph b. abt. 1845 & Josephine b. abt. 1835. I have no further info on them & would appreciate any direction anyone can give to locate them. I do not believe they came to the USA. Florence married Jacintho Leal Rosa (or da Rosa or Rose) but I do not have the date of their marriage. They had 4 children born in Mission San Jose & the youngest was my grandmother Adeline. They were divorced sometime betwen 1891 & 1897, but I do no have a specific date. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
