JR, Yes! This is the family. Is this information from your own records? I had not seen "Costa Carneiro" attached to Joaquim Costa before. I think Carneiro or Carreiro was the surname of his wife, Maria Rita's, father (Shirley Allegre found that for me).
I would love to see any other information you have on this family. I only recently discovered the "Pingão" name was used by my relatives, and haven't seen many other "Pingãos." I wondered if it was a variation on another name.
