Thanks for the translation help. That is interesting that they may not
have been married at that point, because I have not been able to find
the marriage record for Miguel de Souza Ataide and Maria de Mello. I
will try and check near the dates of that baptism of Joana.

Hi Bob,

I do not really have any of my lines going into the Parish of Santa
Cruz on Graciosa but I can double check. All of mine are either from
Sao Matheus or Luz i believe.
