My grandmother was born Maria Raposo Amaral 21/03/1900 in Lomba do Pomar, Povoaçao, Sao Miguel and died in Canada in 1999. She was mother to Maria da Conceiçao Linhares (deceased in 2006), Guilherme Linhares (deceased in 1995), José Linhares (deceased in 1998) ans Solomé Linhares (who died as a young child around 1927) and Luis Manuel Carreiro (deceased in 1997). All of her were born in Povoaçao, Sao Miguel. I don't know the name of her first husband who fathered her first 4 children. Her second husband's (my grandfather) name was Manuel Carreiro but was known as Manuel Vieira (not sure of last names spelling). I was wondering if there was a way to find out my grandmother's parents name?
