There's aren't census records like the United States and Canada.  To find
baptism, marriage, and death records for people born in the 1870s or before
you can order that on film from your local FHC for Ponta Garca and
Livramento and look them up.  If you go to the Azores, you'll need to go to
the archive in Ponta Delgada.  They may just hand you the film that you
could view at home.

The baptism and marriage may or may not have the street name.  There will
not be an address.  You may have to ask around to see if anyone remembers
where the Resendes, Medeiros, etc family lived back then.  You may or may
not get lucky.
