Good Afternoon: I have a question regarding Passport Departure Records for my relative.
My GG Grandfather, Joseph Rose, his wife, Gertrude, and daughter Mary, departed (per the 1900-1920 Census Records) for America in 1893. The family settled in Cambridge, MA. I was told, per the State Archives, in Waltham, MA, that there isn't an immigration record for Boston in 1893. I think it may have been destroyed. My Great-Great Grandmother never became naturalized. Her husband died in 1899, before he became naturalized. Is there any way for me to get passport departure records from Fayal? This is where they lived, prior to immigration. Thank you so much for your help. Warm Regards, Fawn [email protected] -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected]. Follow the confirmation directions when they arrive.
