I have old family letters (1913-1938) from Ponta da Fajã Grande das Flores that mention, inter alii, an Armas family -- possibly from FG or Ponta Delgada das Flores, or environs. Do you suppose this Tony Armas was related to them? I still don't know what, if any, relation they are to my paternal grandmother's family in Ponta -- their surname was Jorge.
