My gr grandmother was Maria daConceicao daCosta born 30 Sep 1887 on Treceira. My grandmother was born in Sao Mattheus so I am thinking her mother was too. Her parents were Jose daCosta and Emilia Augusta. Their children were Virgina 1889, Matthew 1891, Manuel 1893, Victorina 1894, Gertrudes 1896, Amelia 1898 and Mary "Mission" 1900. Matthew married Adelaide Sues, Victorina married Manuel Perry, Amelia married Herman Costa Fayal and Mary "Mission" married John Costa Fayal. Herman and John were brothers. If this family rings a bell with anyone I'd love to know!!
