Repost for Lester, lester.murray at gmail.com I was looking through Horta (Matriz) baptisms 1867-1890 and I found Amelia in record #60 dated August 1885 and a sister, Anna in an earlier record #33 dated May 1884. Their parents Manoel Machado Bettencourt (b. Graciosa abt. 855) and Maria Hortensia de Bettencourt (b. Lajes do Pico abt. 1853) were maried in Horta 12 September 1877. Seems like there should be other children born between 1877 and 1884? Any assistance would be appreciated.
