Hello PamI had a look at the image at the CCA site and must say that it didn't help much.My two cents worth is: On June 16, 1709 at S. Pedro Nordestinho; Sebastiam da Costa (b. Nordestinho) son of Joseph da Costa and Anna da Costa married Catherina Furtada (this is a stretch by looking at the nargin and using a bit of imagination with the body of the text), looks to have been born somewhere in Povoacao (Mae de Deus) daughter of Antonio Mendes and Catherina Fernandes. thanks, I see the Mendes now lol I also see where it looks like Fernandes.
