Trying to find where my GG grandfather was from on Pico Island -born Oct 30, 1830 name Guilherme Mederiros Silva.
Came to New Bedford, Maine on a ship in 1850 - sometime between his arrival and 1953, he returned to Pico and took a bride to bring back to the U.S. She gave her name as Grace A Wood - however she was the daughter of Christiana de Luna and Carlos Matson and was named Marie. Hope I haven't confused the search. Thanks for any help you can give me. [email protected] -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected].
