Celest:

Thanks for the reply and you are sooo right...I WILL stay "online" in hopes of
connecting with "living beings" and sharing our files....thanks also for
reminding me that I should help as I was helped...:-)   Glad I didn't "sign
off" right away.....

Wishing I had thought of the title YOU used....it's VERY GOOD.....:-)

Cheers,

Elizabeth

Subject: Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] Leaving the List

Elizabeth, I can relate to what you wrote.  I, too, have the information on my
direct lines back to the beginning of the records and a little further back.  I
have not done research on the "peripheral" lines, as I call the cousins, aunts,
uncles, etc.  However, by continuing to monitor the list, I have made
connections with distant cousins and have shared my info. and they have shared
their info.   So.....I continue to add to my files and have even found that
some of us are related more closely than I would ever have thought.

The "books" as I call them, were intended to give my children and grandchildren
a view of my journey "Back to the beginning," as I have called my journey back
to my beginnings.  I encourage you to continue to help others as you were
helped.
