Here's the information on Family Tree DNA sales. They will have a Sizzling Summer Sale, but much later in the summer (they had a DNA Day Sale in April, the Family Finder sale now, and have things on sale at the Jamboree (genealogy conference that I am at)).
I know from past experience that what's on sale at Jamboree is a preview of what may be on sale for the Sizzling Summer Sale. Y-DNA 37 was $169 and is $129 at Jamboree Y-DNA 67 was $268 and is $229 at Jamboree mtDNA Plus was $159 and is $129 at Jamboree Family Finder was $289 and is $199 at Jamboree Fam. Finder + Y 37 was $438 and is $328 at Jamboree Fam. Finder + mtDNA Plus was $438 and is $328 at Jamboree Fam. Finder + Y37 + mtPlus was $597 and is $457 at Jamboree That doesn't guarantee that all of that will be on sale later this summer though. The current sale of Family Finder with the code is $179. It's better than the $199 that they are advertising at the show. I asked at the Family Tree DNA booth and they have never offered it at that price of $179 with the coupon code. The current Family Finder sale ends on Sunday. However, I'm tied up most of Sunday. Since I'm networking with other admins to keep the codes coming, I ask that you order by Sat so I can find you a code. I have about 8 left at this moment and other admins are asking me at the show if I need more. Trivial pursuit....just found out my mom is related to my dad (on his American side), probably about 6th cousins, with 48 total centoMorgans (genetic unit of measure) shared. The longest block was only 5 centoMorgans, so it wasn't listed in the matches page. But I got FTDNA to tell me. That's another story for another email. You'll never know what DNA will tell you.
