Did you try to order deaths in Hawaii? If so I would ask them to look for
name variations. Because back in 1996 I requested a death for Manuel dos
Santos, They said they couldn't find one. Last year I sent another request
but this time I asked them to look for Manuel Dos Santos Bento and they
found it. It took them a year to send it to me after back and forth sending
them information how I was related for them to verify I was related.
