Fred, Mike joined this list about 10 weeks ago. Not too sure what he did on his genealogy before that, but he was pretty much a beginner in the world of Portuguese genealogy.
He must have read up on things. He posted his findings here. This census, that marriage, a WWI Draft, etc. Since the posts were coming as he made the discoveries, I emailed him offline, suggesting he make a post on one ancestor outlining everything he did on that particular ancestor (as I, (as well as others), was getting confused over time). Elaine S. and others helped piece it together.
