The census have been known to make mistakes.  They have wrong information on my 
grandmother.

according to the 1920 census my great great grandma immigrated in 1893 and the 
1930 census says it was 1895. She would have been 25 or 27 upon arrival, in her 
obituary she left a brother who was in California. My question is then, would 
they have traveled here together? no matter how much I look I just can't find 
her, or him for that matter with anything definitive.
