Was someone asking about Vargas or Davilla in Eden Canyon, Castro Valley, CA?
When chatting with Madeline (another lister) about Transfiguration Church, I brought out my book "Our First 25 Years ~ 1961 - 1986". Madeline said that someone from the group was asking about a Vargas from Eden Canyon. Godmother wrote about the first Mass, April 16, 1961. Those in attendance Frank and Anna Davilla. Madeline thinks that Anna was Daniel Vargas' daughter. If you live in CA, you might want to call the Parish and ask to look at their book. If they don't have a copy, I will be in Castro Valley at the end of the month and could bring my book, for you to look over and see if there are any pictures of you family.
