Searching for information on Felicidade de Conceicao Teixeira born Augsut 24, 1890 on Ponta Delgada city. Married on July 30, 1905 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Ventura Pacheco (De Mello). Per the marriage record, she was the daughter of Manuel Teixeira and Emilia Roza. Ventura was the son of Frank and Rita Maiata. >From family stories we know that Felicidade (Florence) was the youngest child in her family and that her mother died when she was 8 years old. She had elder sisters named Mary and Rosa and that there were supposed to be "many" chldren in the family. When Felicidade was approximately 12 years old her father sent her to the states to live her sister Mary in Massachusetts. I did find a Jose Teixeira of Ponta Delgada in the passport lists for 1907; age 41, who listed his parents as Manuel Teixeira Brazil and Rosa Emilia (no maiden name given).
